3D printed lampshades

In cooperation with HASELUX we produce sustainable lampshades in series.

Haselux is a young company that has specialized in the sustainable production of lampshades. The lampshade that we produce together with Haselux is made of a biocompatible plastic, which contains a very large part of wood fibers. As a result, the umbrella not only has a very natural surface, but also uses less plastic. The plastic itself is also special. This is biocompatible and can theoretically be composted.

But not only the material is designed to be very sustainable. The manufacturing process, in this case the FDM process, is also environmentally friendly. There is almost no waste. The filament spools that carry the base material are also made of cardboard and further reduce the amount of plastic used in the production process. We also produce the lampshades on demand. This means that the production of a lampshade is only started as soon as an order has actually been received on the Haselux site. This eliminates the need for storage space and avoids waste.

The high proportion of wood in combination with the biocompatible plastic and production with the help of 3D printing makes the HASELUX pendant luminaire, in our opinion, a very sustainable product. Therefore, we are very proud to be able to support such a product as a manufacturer and look forward to a good cooperation.

If you also have an idea like the lampshades from Haselux, we would be happy to help you turn it into reality and in series. Just contact us for this: info@3dbavaria.com
