Step-by-step guide for the online 3D printing calculator
1. Registration
To use our calculator, you must first register.
All you need for this is a valid e-mail address.
On the calculator home page, select the "Register" tab from the menu on the left.
On the following page you can enter your e-mail address. Please accept our terms and conditions by checking the box and click the "Register" button.
Afterwards you will receive an email with a link. Follow it and choose an individual password.
After that you can already use all the functions of our calculator.

2. Uploadc components
To order 3D printed components, you need 3D data, which you have to upload to the calculator.
To do this, you can simply drag and drop your files into the outlined box on the home page, or click "Upload 3D Model" and select the appropriate file on your computer.
Your files will then be uploaded, analyzed and afterwards displayed.

3. Configuring components
After uploading your 3D data, you have the option to select your desired process and material for your components on the right side.
Tip: Use the search function to find materials faster.
After selecting the material, you can choose finishing processes for your components in the next window, such as coloring or vibratory grinding.
Tip: If you need the same material and finish for all uploaded components, you can transfer this information to all others after configuring the first part. To do this, select the "Transfer settings to other parts" option in the drop-down menu of the first part.
Select your desired process and material. Tip: Use the search function for this.
You also have the option to choose post-processing methods.
If you need the same settings for all components, you can simply transfer them here.
4. Link collection & help
If you have questions about our processes and materials, you will find a collection of helpful links to our products and services in the menu on the left.
If you would like a personal consultation, you are also welcome to contact us directly. You will also find the corresponding contact details on the left in the menu under the "Help" tab.
In the menu you will find links to further information.

5. Printability and wall thickness analysis
After selecting the process and material, our calculator will immediately provide you with an initial assessment of the printability of your data.
For example, the wall thicknesses and distances of your 3D models are checked.
By clicking on the preview image in the upper right corner, you will get more details about the analysis.
Our calculator gives you an instant evaluation of the printability of your data. To do so, click on the preview image in the upper right corner.

6. Complete order
When you are satisfied with your selection, you can further select the desired number for each component.
After that click the "Next" button at the bottom right.
You now have the option to either complete your order directly or save an quote.
To complete the checkout process, you must enter a shipping address for your first order by clicking "New Address" at the top of the page. This will be saved for future orders.
Then click on "Next" at the bottom. On the next page, you can select your desired shipping method and leave us additional delivery instructions if necessary.
Then click on "Next" again. You will now be taken to the order overview and can optionally specify a reference and select your desired payment method.
If your billing address differs from the given delivery address, you can also enter it here.
Afterwards, please read and confirm our terms and conditions and then click on "Order with costs" below.
We have now received your order and you will be redirected to the overview page.
Enter the desired number for each component.
To order directly, click "Next" below and select "Order".
When you place your first order, you have to provide a shipping address. To do this, click on "New address". This will be saved for the future. Then click on "Next".
Then select your desired shipping method and give us further delivery instructions if necessary. Then click on "Next" again.
You will be forwarded to the order overview. You can optionally enter a reference. Please choose a payment method and billing address and read and confirm the terms and conditions. Then click on "Order with costs".
Your order has been received and you will be redirected to the overview page of your orders.
More helpful functions
In the following, we would like to introduce you to some more useful features of our online 3D printing calculator. With these we want to make it much easier for you to order your components.
Save and download quote
After you have uploaded your 3D data in the calculator and selected your desired process and material, in addition to being able to order your components directly, you can first save a quote and download it as a PDF file.
To do this, click on "Next" at the bottom right after configuring your parts and select the "Save quote" option.
You will be redirected to a new page where you will have the option to either download, edit or place an order for your offer using the buttons at the top center.
You can find all your saved quotes in the menu on the left under the "Quotes" tab.
After configuring your components, click "Next" and select the "Save quote" option.
On the next page you have the possibility to download the offer as a PDF file.
Repeat orders
To repeat orders you have already placed, please go to the "Orders" tab in the menu on the left.
This will take you to an overview of all your previous orders. Select the order you want to repeat.
Then click on the "Order again" button in the upper right corner of the next page. You will then be redirected to our normal ordering process and can complete your order as usual.

Contact service
Do you have questions about your order or the price indicated in the calculator does not meet your expectations?
Then, after you have configured your parts, you can contact us directly by clicking on the "Contact Service" button at the bottom right.
We will then review your request in more detail and contact you regarding this.
Use the "Contact Service" button if you have any questions about your order.
Through the following window you can send your request to us. We will review them and then contact you.
Share project
Go to the "3D Project" tab in the menu on the left. This will take you to an overview of all your projects. Select the project you want to share.
On the next page you will find the "Share project" option on the right next to the menu. Select this.
A window will open where you can enter the email address of the person you want to share with. Please note that this person must already be registered in the calculator. Then click the button "Share".
The respective person will now receive an email notification about the shared project. They can then access and edit it in the "3D Projects" area. You yourself will see on the left side of the project all the people with whom you have shared it.
Tip: You can leave a comment for the person in the project. To do so, click on "Offers" in the menu on the left and select the corresponding project on the next page.
Then scroll all the way down on the next page. Enter the comment in the field and click "Contribute". The other person will be notified by email about the new comment.
Click on "3D Projects" in the menu on the left. You will be redirected to an overview page with all your projects.
On this page, select the project you want to share.
Click on "Share project" on the left.
In the window, enter the email address of the person you want to share with and click "Share". Note that the person must be registered in the calculator.
The person will be notified of the shared project via email and can access it under "3D Projects". You will see all the people you have shared with on the left side of your project.
Tip: You can leave comments in the project. To do so, click on the "Offers" tab in the menu on the left and select the corresponding project on the next page.
Scroll all the way down in the quote, enter your comment and click "Contribute". The other person will be informed about the new comment by e-mail.
Reset password
If you have forgotten your password for the calculator, you can reset it on the log-in page. To do this, simply click on "Forgot password".
On the following page, please enter your email address and click "Reset my password".
You will then receive an e-mail. Follow the link and set a new password.
Please note: If you have not received an email, please check your spam folder first. If you do not find an email there either, please contact us via email through info@3dbavaria.com. Your password will then be reset manually.
If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset it via the log-in page.
Please enter your email address and click "Reset my password".
You will then receive an e-mail. Follow the link and assign a new password. Please check your spam folder if you have not received an email.
