Have your components printed in 3D

Learn step by step how to get your components 3D printed

Whether it's a prototype, small batch or functional part, 3DBAVARIA always has the right 3D printing service for you to have your parts 3D printed. Thanks to our online 3D printing calculator, you have the possibility to upload your components yourself and order them directly online. In addition, our calculator offers you many other advantages. For example, you can immediately see how much your component costs and get an immediate estimate of its printability. In addition, you can find all your orders in one place and always get the current status of your order.

In the following, you will learn which steps are necessary to be able to hold your finished component in your hands.

1. Register in the calculator and upload 3D data

For the 3D printing of your components, you need 3D printing data, also known as CAD data, as a first step. If you don't have those at hand, you can either create a model with a 3D scan or use a 3D design tool. Once your CAD file is ready, you can easily upload it to our online 3D printing calculator.

If this is your first order with us, you must first register in the calculator. This works very simply with a valid e-mail address as well as a password chosen by you. To assist you with the registration process, we have created a step-by-step guide. There you will also find an overview of many useful functions of the calculator.

After you have registered and logged in, you will then be taken to the calculator home page. To upload your 3D data, either click "upload" there, or drag a file into the button. Our calculator supports a wide range of file formats. However, if your format is not one of them, or your file is too large, you are also welcome to contact us by email.

2. Select material and check components for printability

Our calculator gives you the opportunity to choose between different materials and technologies. Depending on the requirements of your components, various combinations are possible here. Among other things, various colors can be selected or an impregnation for a waterproof component can be booked. If you are unsure about what is the best choice for your product, you can find additional information on our 3D Printing Materials page.

Our calculator automatically gives you a printability estimate for each uploaded component. With the wall thickness analysis, it additionally offers you the possibility to check whether there are thin walls in your component that could possibly break during pressure.

3. Have your 3D components printed

After you made your selection and placed your order, your data will be reviewed by our 3D printing specialists and then put into production. Depending on the configuration you chose for your components in the calculator, your components will either be shipped directly after printing, or they will go to finishing. Depending on the workload situation, it takes an average of four to six working days to complete your products. You can always find the current status of your order in our online calculator.

4. Delivery of your 3D printed components

As the final step of our 3D printing process, your parts will undergo a final check by our specialists. If there are any complications, we will contact you immediately. Your finished parts are then packaged and shipped to you. After shipping, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to trace your order.
