Formnext 2021

World's leading trade fair for additive manufacturing

After 18 months without a presence event, the leading trade fair for additive manufacturing took place again in Frankfurt am Main, Germany this week. 3DBAVARIA was on site as well.

With around 600 exhibitors on an area of 53,000 square meters and visitors from 99 nations, Formnext is the world's leading trade fair for additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing. After the 2020 trade fair could only take place digitally due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event from November 16 to 19 again offered the opportunity for face-to-face exchanges at the Frankfurt exhibition center.

The entire world of additive manufacturing as well as associated upstream and downstream processes can be found at Formnext. The focus is on the efficient implementation of product ideas - from design to manufacture to series production. It is therefore not surprising that the trade fair has grown strongly since its start in 2015 and has become one of the international meeting points for providers and users of industrial 3D printing.

3DBAVARIA at Formnext

We from 3DBAVARIA also took the opportunity to inform ourselves about the latest developments in the field of 3D printing on the opening day at Formnext and to enter into dialogue with the additive manufacturing industry. Not only were we able to exchange ideas with our partners from DyeMansion, Fiberthree and Polymaker in person, but there were also many other exciting meetings and discussions from which we were able to take away numerous new ideas and insights.
